Twilight DVD

Ok so I'm a little excited for the Twilight DVD release coming next Saturday!! Can you tell by the blog! We've all been keeping busy. Aaron has his pinewood derby this Saturday for Cub Scouts. I'll put pics on when he's done.

Utah

On New Year's Day we left Colorado for Utah. We got there with no problems. It's so great to have kids that are old enough to entertain themselves. We were able to go to 2 baptisms of our neices, Emma and Ashley. We were also able to see baby Jack get blessed. It was so neat to see. We also went sledding one day. We went to Salt Lake City. The kids played with Kara at the mall while we went to the temple. We took the kids around Temple Square and had a blast with Karissa and Kara. We also got to see my friends from High School. It was great to see them and their families. What a fun vacation.

The Christmas Season

Christmas was great fun this year. We took the kids to the Electric Safari at the zoo where they got to see Santa and the Grinch and the Snow Princess. The kids had a lot of fun.

We had a lot of fun at mom and dad's on Christmas Eve. Uncle Dave's family was all there and it was great to see them. Everyone enjoyed eachother's company and we all got great gifts.

This busy week!

So this week has been incredibly busy. Jared and Amy and their kids came to visit for Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun with them. We had some fun game nights and movie nights. I think now Amy is hooked on Twilight! Yea along with everyone else well at least the girls of the family (the boys won't admit it)! Even with all the crazyness I still did well on my tests and we got the Christmas tree up and the Christmas shopping done for the kids. Now it's on to finals week and running the kid's school's Santa Shop. The pictures are from our huge Thanksgiving Feast.

I'm Finally Changing My Blog!!

We've all been really busy lately with school and work. We had a great time on Halloween. The kids had tons of fun carving pumpkins. They went Trick o Treating around Grandma's house. Emma also did a great job at her 1st grade concert. She was the only kid that had her part memorized. Aaron has also been busy getting his wolf badge in cub scouts. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The rest of the summer we have been having fun here at home. We have gone to a lot of the local library programs. We've gone skating, swimming, and to the zoo. The kids even had a lemonade stand.
Aaron went to his first day camp. He loved it except for the heat. He got to ride horses. He learned to shoot a bow and arrow and a BB gun. He made a lot of new friends.

Our Summer Experience

To celebrate our 10 year anniversary we went to Florida!! It was the first time that the kids could remember flying. It was the first time for us all to see the Atlantic Ocean. It was amazing. We had fun visiting Mike's brother. He took us around West Palm Beach. We went to a sea turtle perserve and an animal perserve. We also spent a day up in Orlando. We went to Sea World (the most expensive place on Earth!) and we saw the Orlando Temple. What we all enjoyed most was going to the beach and looking for seashells, and coconuts and swimming in Uncle Brent's pool. We tried to find alligators but were detered by the danger and heat! Aaron loved all the animals that habitat Florida (especially the wild cranes that live in Uncle Brent's yard). Emma loved doing crafts with Aunt Carolyn. Mike and I loved being able to finnally have a relaxing vacation.
